So sorry about this. As current policy, "Inbox" isn't allowed to removed. We should hide the "trash can" button from it and we are also considering to remove this rule too.

Sorry for your inconvenience. You can go to the Personal tab > Favorites. And then you can remove your favourite channel from "Smart Channel" section by clicking the trash can button.
