it would be better if we can view the newest videos of the channels instead of the channels themselves, also on the web if you enter to m.youtube.com and choose a video, it will play automatically without me pressing play and can be a bit annoying/p>

First off, thanks for your feedback.
Regarding to YouTube subscriptions, you can:

Tap Browse item in tab bar
Tap YouTube item to enter YouTube
Tap the menu button on top right corner.
Choose "Subscriptions" menu item to list all subscriptions and then you can list videos of certain subscription.
