Some tested Dongles:

I have a lot of problems with Casting Dongles,
I tryed several Dongles,

1. There are several Dongles where present on the box EZCast logo. After connecting to the local network and install the app on phone and PC, The dongle not found, the Firmware updated done and the apps not finding the Dongles. I meet with this situations, where QR not present on the screen.

2.I try to Update this dongles manually via iezvu.com by giving chance if the update help to get the real EZCast full functions and show normly the QRCode and present in the app device list. But unfortunetly not do any updates, only reseted to default settings working via iezvu.com.

3. If the dongle connected to the local network, get privet IP address, Why need the system disconnecting from the network and connecting to the doungle, and not only simply casting to the dongle via the local network???

I missing the EzChannel from the windows app
